How does EV Salary Sacrifice work?

An Electric Vehicle (EV) Salary Sacrifice Scheme is a standout benefit that helps employees switch to electric with confidence whilst cutting their monthly costs.

Similar to the longstanding “Cycle to Work” scheme, EV Salary Sacrifice allows employees to pay for all costs associated with their car before they pay tax or National Insurance on their income. This can save them up to 60% on the price of their next car.

The employee simply selects an EV from a list of approved models, agreeing to give up a fixed portion of their monthly gross salary, equivalent to the lease cost.
