Drivers

Defined as a ‘compact electric SUV’, the Peugeot e-2008 was named ‘Best Crossover’ at the 2021 Top Gear Electric awards.  With a WLTP range of 214 miles, this model is a good option for first-time EV drivers to consider.  A 100kWh battery makes charging really easy, with 80% achieved in around 30 minutes.

The electric model retains most of Peugeot’s design. It features a new grille and ‘e’ badging for environmental credentials. You’ll also benefit from 434 litres of boot space (the same as its ICE equivalent), giving you ample luggage room.

Within the cabin, the 3D digital panel makes it easy to find everything you need, including data on your available electric charge.  Move through different driving modes to make the most of your range, simply at the touch of a button.  A top tip is to use the ‘brake’ mode. It limits brake pedal use while charging the battery during deceleration.

There are four different trims available with the e-2008:

Active Premium

Defined as offering ‘practical everyday features’, this model comes with 16” Elborn alloy wheels, power-folding door mirrors, rear parking sensors and automatic air conditioning.

Allure Premium

With next-generation technology, this model has configurable PEUGEOT 3D-i-Cockpit, 180o colour reversing cameras, gloss black roof rails, 17” Salamanca alloy wheels and active safety brake with Night Function.

GT

With a sporty look and GT styling, this model benefits from a dark chrome grille, diamond black roof and rear spoiler.  It also includes 3D Connected Navigation, a 10” Capacitive colour touchscreen and front parking sensors.

GT Premium

The top line model has the very latest in intelligent driving.  18” Diamond alloy wheels are accompanied with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Positioning Assist, keyless entry and an Alcantara interior.
