Ask The Team: Beth Weir

Our personal service is something that makes Pike + Bambridge stand out from the crowd.  Our dedicated team will work with you to find the best vehicle for your needs and lifestyle.  In this blog we talk to Beth who has been with P+B since university.  Beth is responsible for personal & business leasing as well as our growing Sports division.

Q&A:

How long have you worked at P&B?

Just over 7 years! I was P+B’s first employee.

What attracted you to the business?

I originally started working 8 hours a week with Pike  +Bambridge in an admin support role whilst doing my degree. At first, I was just looking to make some money whilst at University and I had been put in touch via a client who had just purchased a vehicle from P+B for their company. However, the reason I have stayed for so long (and developed my career) is I’ve always been excited about what the company is trying to achieve and challenge; whilst allowing lots of space for personal growth and development.

How would you describe your role to someone joining the business?

The role is intense, the company expects a lot from its team members, but you are really well supported in that, making it a very fulfilling role. I’m constantly learning and developing in many areas of leadership and performance.

How has your role developed within P&B?

I started in a part-time Admin support role, moving to Sales Account Manager focussed on developing our offering to Sports Professionals, and I now head up the Membership Division which includes Sports Division, Personal and Business Leasing.

What element of your role do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy challenging the status quo within the industry for our clients and developing the Pike+Bambridge offering to clients. I’m particularly excited about the next stage of plans we have for the company.

What would your advice to any applicants be?

You’ll have a lot expected of you but there’s a lot of freedom to work and develop that can be really rewarding. You’re also surrounded by a great team which makes it fun to be a part of!
