Getting you up to speed: An introduction to our new Sports Division blog series.

My name is Beth Weir, your dedicated Sport Division specialist here at Pike+Bambridge.

Over the coming weeks I will be providing you with the very best advice and information on some of the most common problems and questions our Sport Division clients face and what we can do to further improve your experience with us. I thought, as this is the first post in the series, I’d give you a little introduction to what Pike+Bambridge do and how we go above and beyond for our clients.

The Pike+Bambridge Sport Division has now been established as its own division within Pike+Bambridge for over 5 years. In that time, we have delivered over 500 cars to Sports Professionals.

We are currently the largest supplier in Scotland to sports professionals, working closely with partnerships, such as the PFA Scotland, to ensure our clients are being offered a truly tailored, expert advice specific to the sports industry.

Our approach is different to dealerships and online brokers. My team and I have an in-depth knowledge on the various VIP schemes provided by manufacturers, as well as the competitive pricing Pike+Bambridge have negotiated due to the volume of cars delivered as a company. This reason, combined with us not being controlled by specific targets, ensures you’re always able to consider all options and be advised on the best route for you. Currently we have a renewal rate of 83% amongst existing customers which when compared to the industry average (20%) so we like to think we're doing something right.

We’ve had cases in the past where our clients have not been fairly represented; whether this be finance or VIP approval and we will always ensure that decisions are challenged until we believe each client gets what they deserve. Whilst we work with the manufacturers, we won’t just accept ‘no’ as an answer or that ‘that’s just the way it is’. Simply put, we always fight for the best result for our clients.

In upcoming blog posts, I will look at how we can help on insurance advice, explain lead times and how you can use them to your benefit, part exchanges and advice on negative equity.

Our focus is you. Therefore, if you have any specific questions, or would like anything to be considered in this series, please let us know and we’ll be happy to research and advise what you need. We will aim to make this as clear as possible, avoiding confusing the conversation with overly complicated jargon.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you back for the next post.
