Introducing The Big Hare Trail

This summer the team at Pike + Bambridge are delighted to be supporting The Big Hare Trail, an exciting project developed and produced by the team at Leuchie House.  A fantastic public art event that is being produced in partnership with Wild In Art, ten giant hare’s will be located across North Berwick from July 10th for ten weeks this summer.

A national charity which is dedicated to supporting those living with the long-term effects of neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, motor neuron disease and Stroke; Leuchie House provide a vital service, offering respite to those families and carers.

The Big Hare Trail coincides with the 10th anniversary of Leuchie House and the summer event will be a welcome treat following months of lockdown for residents across East Lothian and Edinburgh.

Our Hare is being designed by local artists Chris Rutterford and Lubi Lykan.  As one of Scotland’s top mural artists, Chris was behind the Kyloe Cow, located at the west end of Princes Street.  He and Lubi were also the team behind the popular Tom Gilzean statue for the Oor Willie Trail in 2019.

To celebrate the announcement of the Trail artists, Pike + Bambridge brand ambassador and former Scottish rugby Captain, Andy Nicol, joined us to meet our Hare!
