Introducing the Hyundai Santa Fe

Winner of WhatCar? Car Of The Year in the ‘Best Large SUV category’, the Hyundai Santa Fe is a popular option for a large, or expanding family.  7-seats offer an abundance of space, and those considering this car might have also looked at the slightly smaller Land Rover Discovery Sport, or the Peugeot 5008.

You can select from four driving dynamics to suit your mood, with Comfort, Eco, Sport and Smart allowing you to fully personalise your drive.

Interior:

The driver’s seat is fully electric, and all versions come with adjustable lumbar support.  A 10.24” touch screen display connects to both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to ensure you have everything at the touch of a button.  A wireless charging pad also saves you having to move charging cables in and out of the car.

With 7-seats, it’s easy to reach the third row, as the second row slides out of the way simply at the touch of a button.  With more space than previous models, the boot is roomy and if the rear seat row is folded down, can handle several pieces of large luggage.

Exterior:

T-shaped LED Dynamic Running Lights are eye-catching, and a twin-panel panoramic sunroof will provide an abundance of natural light.  If you opt to add the ‘Luxury Pack’ you’ll also benefit from 20” exclusive alloy wheel design (diesel only) and body-coloured wheel arches.

Powertrains:

The Santa Fe is available in three powertrains; the Smartstream Diesel, Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid.

The four-cylinder ‘SmartStream’ diesel engine is available with two or four-wheel drive and produces 202 PS.  It has also been equipped with a new 2,200 bar injection system for improved overall engine performance.

The Plug-In Hybrid is powered by the new 1.6-litre T-GDi ‘SmartStream’ turbocharged petrol direct injection engine, which is paired with a 66.9 kW electric motor.  Available with 4WD, this version has a total power output of 265PS.

The Hybrid model is available with two or four-wheel drive.  Delivering a combined output of 230 PS, this version is powered by the SmartStream engine and a 44.2 kW electric motor.
