Richard Utting

Richard joined P+B in mid-2021, and heads up the day-to-day operations of the business.

Rick has almost had 2 different careers, with the first part working with the likes of Deutsche Bank within corporate world, and latterly working with a series of tech-scale ups.  Most recently Rick worked for 6 years with a technology scale-up within an automotive-associated business.  This balance of experience has proved invaluable to P+B as a business, with Rick introducing 'best-practice' principles from the corporate mindset, as well as retaining the agile mindset of a rapidly scaling business.

As COO, Rick is passionate about maintaining a world-class culture, as well as designing and implementing process that results in brilliant customer experience, no small feat within a business that is a meeting point for an industry that hasn't always had the best customer service reputation.

Rick was responsible for introducing the NPS (net promoter score) to the business, something that has allowed us to better measure our client interaction throughout the process.

A triathlon runner, a keen footballer, and a qualified UEFA football coach, sport is where Rick's passions lie outside of work.
